- For many years, offer making had become a time killing pain to the point where both soles, administration, logistics, procurement and digital were in search for a new technical solutions– but how do you make an IT strategy in a medium sized business with limited adequate project management and technical competence?
Imago Advisory approach
- Imago Advisory analyzed the main process steps and time spend for master data maintenance in Order to Cash and Procure to Pay process
- Then we interviewed customers as well as internal stakeholder to understand the need for master data and sales order, build future scenarios and arrived at a simpler IT architecture and solution to cater for these needs
- In a phase two, we interviewed web customers and deep dived on business needs to arrive at a concise scope requirement that could be used for a structured RFQ process to choose a vendor for a new webshop
Outcome
- Multimillion IT investment replaced by new offer templates in existing ERP system, decommissioning of one application, a structured clean-up of master data and process improvements
- Detailed scope and vision document for new webshop that lays foundation for a digital transformation of sales
- The organization could deliver implementation on both better data and new webpage with a light support model
